The Classic Gear Jammers made their final apperance of the 2011 season and did
so with one of the largest fields of the season. Over 30 cars lined up vieing
for the win. When it was all said and done, David Satterfield and his high
flying Mustang grabbed his first ever win. Satterfield defeated Don Brandt to
claim his victory.
In Top ET action, Tim Church took his 3rd win of the 2011 season. Church and his

flame painted dragster has been on a tare of recent and is quickly catching up
to points leaders Roger Robertson and Frank "The Snake" Roberts.
Young Teaz Powell took out his Father Darrell to reach the Modified ET finals
and went on to his first win at WRP for the 2011 racing season.

In Jr Dragsters, reining WRP Jr Champion Hanna "Bubblegum" Blevins went to the
finals against 2011 points leader Jacob Goble. Goble had the better total
package and took home the win over Blevins.
Wilkesboro Raceway Park will be open this Thursday for the popular Test N Tune
Night. Gates will open around 6pm. WRP will be closed this Saturday and will
re-open for Saturday night racing on Sept. 24th
