Allen Greene is a regular at Wilkesboro Raceway Park, but you rarely ever see him in a driver suit. Greene can mostly be seen crewing and helping out reining WRP Top ET champion Roger Robertson, but not this past Saturday!
Greene rooled out his blazing fast Trans Am and put all challengers on the trailer to take home the $2000 prize. Greene was matched up with Tracy Kilby and his classic Nova in the finals.
Modified ET saw the young guns of the sport show the old pros how it’s done.
Both former multi track Jr. Dragster champions, Tez Powell and Hannah “Bubblegum” Blevins and their classic Chevelle’s met up in the finals.
Blevins gave it all she had, but came up short handing Powell the win.
Other winners included Chris Johnson taking the win over Mike Conley in motorcycles and Chase Hensdell bested Lucas McKinney in Jr. Dragsters.
The Race Against Cancer Staff would like to thank all the 150 that entered and made the race a huge success!
WRP will be open for racing this week on Thursday with the popular Test N Tune night. Only $10 to get in and watch or race! Gates open at 6pm
Then Saturday gates open at 11am for the stars and cars of the WRP points series racing.
